Aaaaaaa! Vihdoinkin uusi Silvera.

History Is All You Left Me seuraa seitsemäntoista vuotiaan pojan, Griffinin, surua ja elämän jatkumista tämän parhaan ystävän ja ex-poikaystävän, Theon, kuoleman jälkeen (tämä ei ollut spoileri :D). Kirja on jaettu 'historia' -lukuihin missä seurataan Griffinin elämää Theon kanssa & 'nyt' -luvuissa elämää Theon kuoleman jälkeen. Griffin kertoo hänen ja Theon historian: suhteen alun, ekat kerrat ja onnelliset hetket, mutta myöskin ne ei-niin-onnelliset-hetket käydään läpi. Griffinillä on myös ongelmia OCD:n kanssa, sekä Theon nykyinen (tai oikeastaan nyt myös ex-poikaystävä) Jackson on inhottava, eikä Griffin halua olla missään tekemisissä tämän kanssa, mutta kanssakäymiseltä ei voi välttyä.

Mä elän ja hengitän tätä kirjoitustyyliä, millä Adam Silvera kirjoittaa. Se on mun mielestä niin aitoa ja raakaa. Hahmot tuntuu oikeilta, hyvin eläviltä. Ja tottakai musta Griffinin ja Theon yhteinen tarina oli liian suloinen. Silveran kirjoissa on nähtävillä sama kaava: History Is All You Left Me itkettää ja naurattaa, mutta enemmän itkettää. Adam Silveran kolmas kirja julkaistaan syyskuussa, eikä sen nimi, They Both Die At The End, tunnu yhtään siltä, että säästyisin itkussa. Kiitti Adam.
